The SHIM system offers the advantages of two machines in one. A standard machine and a shorter ultra high impact machine. The system doubles the power density for shorter work loads. Unlike systems with simple fold down arms the tighter nozzle placement allows narrower nozzle angles to increase the hydraulic impact force by 64%.
The higher impact allows cleaning smaller parts faster and allows removal of soils that may not be removed with the full height PBM.
Two Spray Manifold’s (PBM’s) are coupled together with a selector valve between them. One PBM is the standard height and the other is shortened to approximately half of the work height. The short PBM has a fold down horizontal upper arm and nozzles with narrow spray patterns effectively increasing the impact energy by 64% in the reduced work volume. The higher impact allows cleaning shorter wash loads faster and allows removal of soils that may not be removed with the full height PBM
